Sponsorships and Donations
Donations
A unique and helpful way to donate is through many of our park and open space enhancement projects. From buying and dedicating a park bench, to contributing to ballfield renovations, your tax-deductible donation to the Park District of Highland Park will ensure we continue to provide a diversity of healthy leisure pursuits.
Contact our Parks and Planning office at 847.681.2189 and you will be put in contact with a knowledgeable and friendly staff member who will work with you through the donation process.

Scholarships (S.M.I.L.E.)
S.M.I.L.E. was created in 1992 by the Park District of Highland Park for the purpose of raising funds for its Grant-In-Aid program. Each year the number of families needing financial assistance increases and we need your help. With the help of S.M.I.L.E., which stands for Scholarships Mean Involvement in Leisure for Everyone, the Park District is able to provide recreational services to Highland Park residents in financial need. We welcome any assistance in our programs or events. If you’re interested, contact Julie Naatz at 847.579.3123 or jnaatz@pdhp.org.
Grant-In-Aid
The Park District of Highland Park offers Grant-In-Aid to qualifying families in Highland Park needing financial assistance. An application form requesting detailed financial information is available at West Ridge Center and must be fully completed. All Grant-In-Aids are awarded on the basis of need and availability of Grant-In-Aid funds at the time of application. Upon submission of a grant request, families will be notified in 10 working days of their grant status. Questions regarding the Grant-In-Aid program may be directed to Julie Naatz at 847.579.3123 or jnaatz@pdhp.org.
