A plan to revitalize Highland Park’s unique resources for today and for the future
JJR, LLC has worked on the revitalization of lakefronts in major cities including Chicago, Milwaukee, Detroit, and Cleveland, as well as Lake Forest and Independence Grove. Williams Architects, who designed the Recreation Center of Highland Park and Hidden Creek AquaPark, was enlisted to develop the building plans. All concepts for the lakefront were developed with green design principles that closely follow federal LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification guidelines.
