Highland Park Government Agencies Present "Know Your Highland Park Governments"

HIGHLAND PARK, IL – Government agencies in Highland Park will be engaging residents during the month of October by holding meetings titled, "Know Your Highland Park Governments." The meetings will include brief presentations by each governmental body on governance and financing models followed by time for questions. These events are intended to provide residents and other interested parties with a better understanding of each organization and to highlight recent initiatives of these governmental partners to identify potential cost savings through cooperation. Interested parties are encouraged to attend one of the meetings to learn more about their local governments.

The meeting schedule is:
• Thursday, October 22, 2009, 7:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. at the Highland Park Country Club
• Sunday, October 25, 2009, 2:30 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. at the Elm Place School Auditorium
