For the first time under one roof, the Park District of Highland Park offers you a fully handicapped-accessible, state-of-the-art facility that includes a fitness center, aquatic center, gymnasiums, locker rooms, an indoor café, multi-purpose and meeting rooms, and group fitness studio. This is a facility where we know you’ll want to spend time with family and friends. So take time to revitalize with yoga while your kids take swimming lessons. Or energize with a game of basketball while your spouse works out in a spin class.Then, slow down and socialize with friends over juice or coffee at The Club Café. At the Recreation Center of Highland Park, we invite you to enjoy an outstanding recreational and fitness experience with park district service and tradition.

Five Ways to Participate

  1. Become a Recreation Center Member: Membership offers you full access to the fitness center as well as open and lap swim, running/walking track access, open gym time and discounts on fitness and aquatic exercise drop-in classes.
  2. Become a Member for a Day: Pay a daily fee for access for the day to the Recreation Center, including full access to the fitness center as well as open and lap swim, running/walking track access and open gym time. Res/$10, Nonres/$12
  3. Drop in for a fitness or aquatic exercise class: Buy a single-class or a 10-class pass to participate in group exercise or aquatic classes.
  4. Register for Recreational or Learn-to-Swim classes: Participate in the Park District lottery to sign up for recreational offerings or Learn-to-Swim classes.
  5. All in our community enjoy FREE access to our walking/ running track. Come and visit us!
