Hours of Operation

Courts are available at 6:30 a.m. Daily closing may be adjusted according to reservation volume. Deer Creek Courts is open after Labor Day till Memorial Day.

Deer Creek Courts features six indoor tennis, four racquetball and two wallyball courts. The courts provide excellent playing conditions with bright indirect lighting, contrasting background for enhanced visibility and clean court surfaces that offer consistent bounce. Dedicated to serving the Highland Park community, Deer Creek Courts provides fun for the entire family with affordable group lessons for all ages.  Our facility is unique in its flexibility of usage-our courts are available for lessons, special events, leagues, permanent court times for members and even open play for the public. Our tennis professionals are ready and available to help you improve your game. Both group and private lessons are available for beginner, intermediate and advanced players.

Features

Six indoor tennis courts, four racquetball courts, two wallyball courts, group and private lessons for all ages, camps, leagues, permanent court times for members, open play for the public and men's and women's locker rooms. In addition, the Park District of Highland Park has 40 outdoor tennis courts at the following locations:
 
Brown Park, 2 courts
Cloverdale Park, 2 courts
Danny Cunniff Park, 12 courts
Larry Fink Memorial Park, 8 courts
Old Elm Park, 2 courts
Red Oak School, 4 courts
Sunset Woods Park, 4 (soft, lighted), 3 (hard) courts
Woodridge Park, 2 courts

All outdoor courts are free, open to the public and have no attendants.  Players are required to use the following rack-up system.

1. To reserve a court for play, hang your racquet in the designated area for that court prior to the scheduled court change.
2. You must remain with your racquet to validate your reservation.
3. Courts must be yielded promptly at the scheduled time.  Please be considerate and allow points in progress to be completed without interruption.
4. Most courts change on the hour.  There are some 11/2 hour courts at Larry Fink Memorial Park and Danny Cunniff Park.
