Run, jump & cook! This class will keep your children active as they start off each morning with games and activities in the gym. We will then prepare our own fun-filled snack before enjoying free play and interaction with new friends. Class ends by enjoying lunch brought from home and socializing with friends. Let’s Play with Food (Ages 3-5)
Eat with your hands and play with your food! This fun, fast moving class will teach your child how to use basic kitchen utensils, follow a recipe and, most importantly, how to enjoy the fruits of their labor. Hop in and buckle your seat belt as we take off on an adventure to discover the uniqueness of our country. This make-believe road trip around the United States will take you on a tour of a new state each week. We’ll discover what makes our country so wonderful through crafts, games and food. Preschool Sports Fun & Fitness (Ages 4-5)
Kick. Shoot. Score. And more. A little of everything from basketball and soccer to floor hockey, kickball and tennis. Each week your young athlete will take on a new sport complete with warm-up exercises, stretching and jogging. During the class player will learn the skills that will last a lifetime: teamwork and sportsmanship. At ‘half-time’ we will grab some water and a snack and engage in semi-free play before we head back to the gym. Drop-off and pick-up is in Activity Center 203. Instructor: Lianne Plath. Animal Kingdom (Ages 3-5)
Lions and tigers and bears, oh my! Join us as we romp around with a new animal each week, including kangaroos, elephants, penguins and more. We will learn about where the animals live, what sounds they make, their way of life and much more. This is a great learning experience with lots of fun included! Art project and snack included. My Play Date (Ages 4-6)
Mix up fun and learning between the gym and our preschool room. Participants will play various sports and games each week in the gym and then go upstairs to the preschool room for a snack, crafts and free play in a structured environment. *Friday class: Children must bring a sack lunch and drink. Gym & Swim (Ages 4-6)
Burn off some energy on land and in the water. Spend time with old friends and new, playing in the gym and pool. Our experienced staff will teach your children teamwork as they participate in various games and sports. Then when it’s time to splash in the pool a certified instructor will help your child build fundamental water skills in a semi-structured swim class. This class is the perfect combination of friends, fun and energy. Participants should be comfortable in the water, wear gym shoes and provide their own swim towel. Drop-off is in the gym/pick-up is in the pool lobby. Instructor: Lianne Plath. No class September 30, October 9 & November 27.
