Memorial Park honors Highland Park’s World War I heroes. With the construction of the Bob Robinson bandstand in 1980, this grassy triangle has become a popular summer gathering place. The bandstand was built as a tribute to Robert G. Robinson, first president of the Highland Park Historical Society and curator of its museum.  The acre park also includes a picnic area.
