Celebrate Chicago River Day at The Preserve of Highland Park. The Park District has teamed up with the Friends of the Chicago River, to create a safe, socially distanced volunteer event to pick up litter along the trails in The Preserve which is adjacent to the Skokie River.   The river is part of the Chicago River watershed.

• Participation is limited to 15 people per one hour time slot
• Time slots are 9 am and 10 am.

Shifts meet at 9 am and 10 am in the southeast corner of the Recreation Center parking lot, 1201 Park Avenue West, Highland Park, IL. Volunteers should bring their own gloves. Official River Day Tee-Shirts and trash bags will be supplied.
