This event will be filled with pumpkin smashing, delicious food, lively music, and exciting activities for all ages to enjoy.  Proceeds will benefit the Parks Foundation of Highland Park SMILE scholarship fund — giving local families in need of financial assistance the opportunity to participate in Park District programs.  

Engage in traditional games like sack races, apple bobbing, and cornhole, plus face painting and craft stations. Choose from a variety of delectable options from food trucks while live music fills the air. Climb aboard a hay-filled wagon and take a leisurely tour around the Preserve.

Bring your leftover pumpkins and release any pent-up energy by hurling pumpkins at a designated area. Whether you throw the pumpkins yourself or watch others participate, it’s bound to be a smashing good time!
