This year’s Fourth Fest at Sunset Woods Park will be bigger and better than ever as Highland Park’s 150^th “Big Bash” celebration is part of the festivities. What better way to celebrate our city’s 150^th anniversary than on the 4^th of July at Fourth Fest – our community’s biggest event!  The party begins at 9:30am with the HP150 parade that leads into Sunset Woods Park for Fourth Fest and the Big Bash beginning at 11am and running through 2pm.

Highland Park residents will be treated to all the great Fourth Fest attractions including pony rides, petting zoo, carnival rides, bounce houses, inflatable games, climbing wall, trackless train rides, food from local restaurants and back by popular demand Rod Tuffcurls and the Bench Press will perform on the main stage. 

Special Big Bash attractions will include a pie eating contest, games, free HP150 birthday cake slices, an all community photo and the HP Pops will perform at the Pavilion Stage.  Pie eating contest participants can register at the event beginning at 11am (contest divisions are: Ages 5-10, Ages 11-17, and Ages 18+).
