The Gymnastics Instructor will teach PreTeam classes and will be the Primary Coach for Level 3 Gymnasts. Additional recreational gymnastics classes may be taught. Must have some gymnastics experience. Occasional weekend hours are required during meet season (January – April). Evening hours required Monday – Thursday.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Instruct gymnastics lessons in accordance with PDHP’s gymnastics curriculum.
  • Teaching skills essential to the development and growth of gymnasts’ abilities and progress.
  • Understand skill levels and teach in a progressive and safe manner.
  • Attend all informational staff meetings.
  • Possess knowledge of gymnastics skills and progressions and proper apparatus execution.
  • Performs other Park District-related duties as assigned.

Salary Range: $15.00 – $35.00 Hourly

Location: Centennial Ice Arena – Highland Park, IL
