This summer, experience The Power Of… at parks across the community. The Summer Park Pop Up Series is a free collection of lively neighborhood gatherings that highlight the simple forces that shape our everyday lives.

Each event explores a different theme—from the power of nature to the power of the arts, the power of trees and reuse, the power of imagination, the power of play, and, finally, the power of community. Through engaging performances, hands-on activities, and interactive experiences, each Pop Up invites participants of all ages to discover how creativity, curiosity, and connection can transform an ordinary day in the park into something memorable.

Monday, June 15 • 4:30-5:30pm

The Power of Nature

Step outside and discover the wonder that surrounds us. This Pop Up celebrates the power of nature through hands-on activities, interactive exploration, and experiences that invite participants to observe, create, and connect with the natural world. It’s a chance to slow down, explore, and appreciate the beauty and curiosity found outdoors.

The Power of Imagination

Designed especially for young children and their families, this playful morning celebrates the magic of imagination. Through storytelling, music, creative play, and hands-on exploration, little ones can discover how curiosity and creativity spark learning and joy. It’s a morning inspired by the wonder of early childhood.

Creativity takes center stage during this morning filled with artistic expression. The event will also spotlight local sustainability efforts and the community’s Green Path Plan, offering ideas and inspiration for how small choices—like reusing, repurposing, and reducing waste—can make a meaningful impact.
