Figure Skating &
Hockey Programs

Ice Update

Centennial Ice Arena’s ice rink flooring replacement and facility renovations are progressing smoothly. Once completed, both projects will allow us to deliver essential and exceptional skating programs to our community again.

Our current timeline estimates that we will be able to run programs in the Spring of 2023. There will be no skating classes at Centennial Ice Arena for the Winter 2023 Session. Should our timeline change, we will communicate with the community as soon as possible.

Learn-to-Skate Programs – We continue to partner with the Winnetka Park District to provide Learn-to-Skate programs for our skaters at the Winnetka Ice Arena (490 Hibbard, Winnetka, IL). The Winnetka Park District will extend resident rates to Highland Park residents for their Winter Learn-to-Skate programs.

Participants should complete this form and email it to Winter Registration begins on December 5.

On-Ice Hockey Programs – The Falcons Hockey Association will run Winter Little Falcons hockey classes at Hot Shots Ice Arena in Lake Bluff while Centennial is undergoing construction. This developmental program gives skaters a solid foundation of skating, stick handling, shooting, and passing. Hockey equipment is required.
Class run Saturdays from January 7 – March 11 from 1-1:40pm. View more info and register.
