Fontana-Pasquesi’s Basketball Court is scheduled for replacement in fall 2025.
The renovation will remove the existing basketball court and replace it with a half court, and small youth half court. The shape will become a standard rectangle, replacing the existing curvy court.
The renovation will also involve work under the court, to address the cracking problem seen on the existing court.
The coloring and striping of the basketball court has been postponed until the Spring.
The construction fence will be taken down once the installation of the backboards and hoops is completed.
The basketball court will be open until the coloring/striping occurs.
Crews will be on site this weekend to install the basketball posts, the backboards and hoops will be installed once the posts are set.
Coloring/striping of the court is expected to begin in the next couple of weeks.
Site restoration work is nearly complete.

The court is expected to be paved on Wednesday, September 24.
Crews were on site yesterday to start demolition of the basketball court.
Once demolition was completed, work began to install the drainage tiles and stone base layer of the court.
Construction is expected to begin the week of September 15.
When the construction fence goes up, the basketball court will remain closed until construction is complete.
