Join Go Green Highland Park, SWALCO, the Park District of Highland Park, and the City of Highland Park in celebrating International Compost Awareness Week (ICAW).

Bring a bucket over to the parking lot at Hidden Creek AquaPark between 9am-1pm to pick up (up to 20 gallons) locally-made compost for your gardens, flowerbeds, planters, and lawns.

More than just compost! This year, the event has grown to include confidential document shredding, and free herb seedling giveaways.
Document shredding will be available between 10am-1pm. Bring up to 6 bankers boxes of confidential documents for shredding/recycling.
While supplies last, there will be free herb seedlings to take home.
