Cancellation Policy

1. Refunds must be requested at least one day before the session start date (Note: One-day or special events must be requested at least 10 days before the event start date). Refunds requested on or after the session start date will not be honored.
2. A full refund will be issued if a Park District class is canceled due to lack of enrollment.
3. Registration and the applicable payment are non-transferable between individuals.
4. We do our best to issue refunds as soon as possible, but sometimes delays are necessary to ensure accuracy. Refunds by check can take 2-4 weeks to issue. A refund to your charge card may be processed within 3 business days; however, the credit may not appear on your statement until the next billing cycle.

Participant: Pro Ratio

Prior to a new session, junior classes with one or two participants will be moved to another class on another day and time. 

Class Make-Up Policy

The Park District does not guarantee a participant’s ability to make up a class that is missed. Please take a moment to call our desk at 847.433.5450 and let us know about any future absence for a class to allow for another participant to join. Please follow these guidelines when making up a class.

1. Limit of two make-ups per session.
2. Classes may only be made up during the session in which the classes were missed.
3. Participant must make up at their level or below; never above.
4. Participant must notify the club of an absence by at least 24 hours prior to their scheduled lesson; otherwise, they are not able to make up the missed class. Participant must notify the front desk not their tennis pro.
5. If participant shows up to a class that is full, they may not attend the class.
6. If participant does not show up after reserving a spot, it will still count as their make-up.
7. If a make up is scheduled in a class that is not full and the class becomes full, we will call to cancel the make up since that spot is no longer available.
