Class Make-Up Policy

The Park District does not guarantee make-ups for missed classes.
Please take a moment to call our desk at 847.433.5450 and let us know about any future absences. 
Please follow these guidelines when making up a class.

  1. Limit of two make-ups per session.
  2. Classes may only be made up during the session in which the classes were missed.
  3. Participant must make up at their level or below; never above.
  4. If participant did not notify the club of an absence prior to their scheduled lesson, they are not able to make up that class.
  5. If participant shows up to a class that is full, they may not attend the class.
  6. If participant does not show up after reserving a spot, it will still count as their make-up.

2023-2024 Private Class Notice

Membership will be required for all customers who wish to have a ‘private’ class for the 2023-2024 Indoor Season.

Pickleball Levels:

  • 1.0 – New to Pickleball
  • 2.0 – Players who can sustain ball control and are still learning the rules of the game.
  • 2.5 – Playing pickleball regularly and still learning strategy. Looking to play more competitively.
  • 3.0 – Understands how to score & is learning and developing court coverage and strategy.
  • 3.5 – A player who can absorb pace and can anticipate shot selection; understands use of the dink & is willing to use the drive.
  • 4.0 – A solid, all-around player who understands all facets of the game.
  • 4.5 – SHOWTIME! Can use the dink, use and absorb pace; serve & return game is explosive.

All current participants must register under your evaluated level. If you register for a level outside of your designated level, the registration will be canceled.

All participants wishing to sign up for 2.5 and above must be evaluated PRIOR to registering. If you register, prior to an evaluation, your space is not guaranteed.
