Sat, Jul 24 at 7am-3pm – Park Ave Boating Launch and Park Ave North Lot will have limited access due to the North Shore Yacht Club’s Beach to Beach Paddle Race.

To accommodate crews working on the Senior Center, from Thurs., Aug 1 through Sat., Aug 3 the Recreation Center elevator will be out of service. On Thurs., Aug 1, from 8am to noon, the Recreation Center locker rooms will be closed and the entrance to the Center will be limited to the southeast side, next to the lobby and the emergency exit.  Also, on Thurs., Aug 1, from noon to 5pm, the Recreation Center’s pool and locker rooms will be closed and the hot water will be shut off. We appreciate your patience during this time.

He’s black & white, furry, and wearing a mask! How hard can it be? Come out to your local Parks in Highland Park and see if you can find where Walter has been lately, and what he’s been up to!?

Each day (starting at 8am) is somewhere new, follow his journey through Facebook and our website. Look for what he’s left behind, and where he is off to next!

When you do find what Walter left behind at one of our parks, scan the QR code to see what fun activity you can do and enter our drawing to win prizes and a gift card.
