This half acre plot of land is the historical gateway to Highland Park on Lake Cook Road, the division between Lake and Cook counties. Sun Wheel and Staffs, by artists Margaret Lanterman and Stephen Luecking, showcases outdoor public art at its best. This project was spearheaded by the City of Highland Parks Cultural Arts Commission. The park is located east of the Braeside Metra station.
