Rosewood
Beach

Rosewood Beach Swimming is closed for the Season. No lifeguards on duty until Memorial Day Weekend 2026.

Rosewood is a national award-winning beach that features a nature cove for ecological and nature programs, a guarded swimming beach, and a recreation beach. Nestled against Rosewood’s wooded bluffs is a one-of-a-kind beachfront Interpretive Center and amenity buildings including picnic tables, restrooms, outside sand rinse stations and guard building connected by a boardwalk that runs the length of the beach.

During the swimming season (Memorial Day-Labor Day), swimming hours for the beach are subject to change depending on weather, water quality, crowds, and wave conditions.  Certified lifeguards supervise the beach during public swimming hours. A sign is posted that indicates when lifeguards are not on duty.
