Under the direction of the Head Tennis Professional, the Tennis Teaching Professional is responsible for teaching tennis lessons to our guests at Deer Creek Racquet Club. Additional assigned administrative duties also apply.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Teaching Lessons & Administration
- Teach private and group lessons, demonstrating proper techniques and following standardized methods.
- Handle administrative tasks (attendance, messages, timesheets) and secure substitutes when needed.
- Arrive on time, complete lessons, and ensure the facility is clean and equipment stored properly.
- Communication & Collaboration
- Keep administrative staff informed of key issues and class changes.
- Resolve differences with colleagues discreetly and solicit feedback for improvements.
- Attend staff meetings and participate in professional development.
- Customer Service & Safety
- Provide excellent customer service to all patrons.
- Work safely, report hazards, use protective equipment, and attend required safety training.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Salary Range: $35.00 – $40.00 Hourly
Location: Deer Creek Racquet Club – Highland Park, IL
Status: Part Time
